The main game is pretty much a bonus hunt with little thrill to provide, so instead it all comes down to the free spins game where the low fruit is cleared out of the reels. My longest run without any win at all was eight spins, ending on spin 222.
Visually, Miss Cherry Fruits Jackpot Party is a garden-variety slot. It came out in July 2022. It appears pretty much like any other slot that arrived before it using a comparable theme, and it does the job, but there's certainly a bit of a generic vibe to it. The fruit end of the set is cherries, lemons, plums and oranges. On the reels you'll spot the low-paying fruit symbols as well as more lucrative grapes, melons, horseshoes and bells, while the Wild substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter and the Disco Ball.
What the eight free spins actually do
The main game is mostly about watching for Disco Balls to collect. There is a shortcut on the buttons: Buy Bonus purchases a round of Free Spins or of the Disco Ball Respin, and a Buy Chance x2.5 option gives more chances of reaching either for a slightly raised bet. Six of them are the cost of entry to the respins, and there are no other features to profit from. I bought neither option and played all 450 spins flat. It all comes down to the Free Spins feature, which comes into play when you land three Scatter symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5. My first trigger didn't arrive until spin 243.
Eight free spins are granted. Six of my eight rounds ran to those eight spins and no further. The round is played with the high and middle symbols only, so the low fruit is out of the way, and whenever three or more Scatters land during the round, eight more spins are added. Two of my rounds did that, on spins 259 and 369, and both ran on to 16. The studio states it can retrigger without limit. The Free Spins feature is not really capable of producing any explosive hits, although it can add up to a respectable total. The gaps between my triggers ran from 10 spins to 31. Across 450 spins it triggered eight times and paid 464.80 credits on a 2.00 stake, 31% of everything I won, with the best round worth 86 times the stake. The balance went from 1,000.00 to 1,613.40, having dipped to 788.80 on the way. The largest hit of the session wasn't the feature at all. My peak balance of 1,623.00 came much later, on spin 442. It was a Wild-carried line on the high symbols, 209 times the stake on spin 340, and the session ended at a 168.2% return.
The Disco Ball Respin doesn't feel very inventive either, especially at this point in time when every other provider appears to be churning out Hold & Win clones left and right, and it also never revealed itself. I left the buy buttons alone, so it had 450 base-game chances and took none of them. Six Disco Balls in one spin never landed in 450 spins. So no Mini, Major or Mega was ever played for.
