A 96.05% headline RTP sits at the top of a list that runs down to 86.90%, and my 480 spins at 20 credits came back at 75.3%. Coins land on reels 1 to 4, a Collector on reel 5 gathers them, and three Bronze free spins rounds paid 49% of everything I won, the best of them 139x the stake.
Pig City Life from All41Studios plays out on a 5-reel, 3-row game grid, and onto these reels assorted symbols land, creating combos across 243 ways to win. All41Studios is also the studio behind Gold Collector and Gold Collector Diamond Edition.
Pig City Life provides stakes from 0.20 to 20 credits per spin, and one item to keep an eye out for is a changeable RTP configuration. The most advantageous is a 96.05% variant. Below it sit variants of 94.05%, 92.05% and 86.90%. All41Studios hasn't driven the volatility to extreme heights. My longest run without a win lasted 17 spins, ending on spin 210. A score of 3 out of 6 makes Pig City Life a medium volatility slot. Over 480 spins at 20 credits each, I wagered 9,600 credits and won back 7,228, a return of 75.3%.
When three to five identical symbols land, winning combinations connect in Pig City Life, and this amounts to 243 ways to win. Review sites report a hit frequency of 32.08%, while 28% of my spins paid something. Pay symbols are split into four card suits as the lower pays and four upscale objects as the premiums. These are the champagne bottle, money bill clip, diamond ring and gold watch. Five of a kind in any of the card suits pays 0.8x the stake. Payouts are rather humble. Five top-tier symbol combos are worth 2 to 5 times the stake. In my session, 81 of the 136 paying spins returned less than the 20-credit stake. For now, one final symbol is the wild, landing on reels 2 to 4 only to replace any symbol except the Scatter, Coin, Fortune Wheel and Collector. With the wild kept off reels 1 and 5, a five-symbol win needs the real symbol on both outer reels.
Features include Rolling Reels and a Coin Collector with four jackpots. They include Coin Booster multipliers and free spins. Free spins paid 3,520 credits of the 7,228 I won, which is 49% of the total.
Collected symbols on reels 1 to 4 are removed from the reels via the Rolling Reels mechanic. The symbols sitting above the cleared positions slide down first. New symbols drop into view to fill the empty positions, possibly creating fresh collections, and this sequence repeats if fresh collections keep coming. Fortune Wheel symbols land on reels 2 to 4 and are cleared the same way once collected.
On each spin, Coins on reels 1 to 4 carry 0.5x to 25x the wager, and the Collector lands on reel 5 only and collects every Coin on display. It spins the wheel for 1 of 4 jackpots when it lands with a Fortune Wheel:
Each jackpot starts at the lower figure, rises by a fixed step up to the upper one, and drops back to its minimum once won.
The Collector may apply a Coin Booster, and if it does, it multiplies the Coin wins by x2, x3, x5 or x10 on that specific spin. The rules tie this booster to the base game, where any Collector that lands has a chance of carrying it.

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols triggers the free spins round, and when 3, 4, or 5 Scatters are in sight, the prize is 8 Bronze, Silver or Golden Free Spins. All three of my free spins rounds came from three Scatters and were Bronze, on spins 16, 384 and 421, with 368 spins between the first two. A ladder step can lengthen these by 3 or 4 spins. The +3 step belongs to Bronze and the +4 step to Silver and Golden, and none of my three rounds reached it. During free spins, the Growing Coin Multiplier begins at x1 in Bronze or x5 in Golden. It climbs up one step each time a Collector lands, boosting Coin wins. The ladder runs x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x15 and x50.
The Minty Summary: 480 spins at 20 credits returned 75.3%, and the best hit, 139x from a Bronze round on spin 384, is less than a hundredth of the 15,000x cap. The Collector’s best base-game haul was 28.5x on spin 128, while the Grand, starting at 2,500x, stayed a number on the meter.
Pig City Life's Collector mechanics keep the tempo moving. My largest collection outside free spins came on spin 128, when the Collector gathered 570 credits, or 28.5x the stake. Paired with the Growing Coin Multiplier, they can carry the slot places, and max win, for instance, hits 15,000x the wager. My best hit in 480 spins was 2,780 credits, 139x the stake, from Bronze Free Spins on spin 384, with the balance at its session low of 95,898 just before. I am yet to witness this slot live up to its declared potential, though, it should be noted. Even the smallest Major, at 150x the wager, is larger than that, so neither the Major nor the Grand landed in my session. A large max win number is merely part of the story, however.
