Genie’s Fortune Slot – Free Demo

What 470 spins at 1.20 left me with

So without additional fuss, Genie's Fortune is an online slot powered by Betsoft. It employs 5 reels, 3 rows and 30 pay lines, and players can wager between 0.01 and 225 credits per spin. Across my 470 spins at 1.20 credits each, the balance went from 1,000.00 to 1,203.28.

Crossed scimitars and snake baskets

12 symbols are in use in total here. When a Flying Carpet lands on reel 1 in the base game, it flies along its row and turns the symbols it passes into Bonus Payouts. There are 4 low to mid value symbols that contain crystal balls, red gems, fruit bowls and snake baskets, as well as 4 high-payers depicted by crossed scimitars, gold bars, camels and belly dancers. Five of any high-payer on a line return 6.67 times the stake, and five of a low to mid symbol return 2.67 times the stake.

The flying carpet wild is the highest paying, awarding 8.33 times the stake for 5 across a complete pay line. Three Lamps on a payline opened the Genie Bonus for me on spin 45, and the three wishes paid 296.40 credits, 247.0x the stake.

The scatter symbol arrives in the shape of a treasure chest. The Flying Carpet wild does not substitute for it. 3 are enough to trigger the free spins. The chests triggered free spins four times in my session, on spins 81, 112, 122 and 260.

Treasure Chests that never retrigger

Players need to land a minimum of 3 treasure chest symbols to trigger the free spins feature, and this will award 5, 10 or 20 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 chests. When I landed 4 chests on spin 81, the 10 free spins paid 51.60 credits, 43.0x the stake. There is no multiplier on wins. Free spins that trigger at the same time as another feature are not played.

The bonus is not possible to retrigger should you land 3 or more treasure chest symbols, unlike many slots. A Monkey in the middle of reel 3 starts the Click Me feature, and my picks on spin 22 paid 112.80 credits before Collect turned up.

The Minty Take: No spin can pay more than 428 times the stake, and my best one, the Genie Bonus on spin 45, stopped at 247.0x. The bonuses brought in 534.96 of the 767.28 credits I won, while 88 of my 145 paying spins returned less than the 1.20 stake.

A lamp, a monkey and a 428x lid

Many Betsoft slots have pleasantly surprised me, but with Genie's Fortune, I am less sure.
