Provider:
Endorphina
Wilds sit only on reels 2, 3 and 4, the Star scatter pays up to 500 times the stake without starting anything, and a card gamble can double any win up to ten times. My 290 spins at 10.00 never took the balance past its starting 10,000.00; the best hit was 890.00 on spin 237.
Studio Endorphina is back with another slot, and this time around they have opted for a 5x4 reel layout. It is a fruit slot named More Fresh Fruits. The session behind this review ran 290 spins at a stake of 10.00, starting from a balance of 10,000.00.
More Fresh Fruits is a medium variance slot offering a solid RTP of 96.09%. Across those spins, the game paid back 1,967.60 against 2,900.00 wagered, a session return of 67.8%. It is available from €1 to €200 per spin, and each spin sees 20 symbols drop on the reels. The aim is to drop identical symbols on any of the 100 fixed paylines, linking from left to right for a win. Hell Hot 100 and Chance Machine 100, two other Endorphina games, also run on 100 lines.
The symbols employed in the game are a mixed assortment of fruit and non-fruit symbols: on the low end are coconuts, apples, watermelons, grapes, and strawberries, trailed by bells and sevens. Five of a kind for these symbols pays out 1 – 10 times the stake. At the top of that range sit the Sevens at 10 times the stake, while five Bells pay 3 times it and five of any fruit pay between 1 and 2 times. By far the most rewarding symbol is the Star scatter. It pays out 500 times the wager for 5 anywhere. That payout did not land during the 290 test spins.
It's not all observing symbols drop. There are also two mechanics to watch out for, and these are the Wild and the Risk Game.
The Wild is present on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, and when it drops, it substitutes for every symbol except the Star scatter. When Wilds land on reels 2, 3 and 4 together, a symbol on reel 1 can link through all three of them along a payline.
If 3 or more Star symbols drop anywhere in sight, they pay out. But no free spins are granted. With no bonus round either, every win comes from the lines, the Star scatter or the Risk Game.
Players are obliged to land a win to trigger the Risk Game, and this round consists of selecting a card greater than the dealer's. Every time the card is greater, the win is doubled, and the round can be replayed up to 10 times in a row. A wrong pick at any point loses the win being gambled.
More Fresh Fruits is another enjoyable little slot from Endorphina, but then again, it may come across as a touch flimsy at first. However, More Fresh Fruits has a pleasant rhythm that makes it tough to set down. Of the 290 spins, 82 paid something, and 53 of those returned less than the 10.00 stake.
The Minty Breakdown: Payouts are certainly here, and More Fresh Fruits pays up to 2,000 times the stake. Five Stars, the top single payout in the paytable, cover a quarter of that ceiling at 500 times the stake.
The gameplay is elementary, but enjoyable. It can require time to thaw to, though. The longest run without a win in the session lasted 16 spins, ending on spin 187.
During testing, the low-value fruit wins amounted to very little for a spell. It was hindered by the lack of any free spins. The balance bottomed out at 8,501.00, which is 1,499.00 below where it started. However, the play perked up after a spell, though the balance never climbed above where it began. The session ended at 9,067.60, down 932.40 on the opening balance.
The largest hit arrived on spin 237. It paid 890.00 on the 10.00 stake and lifted the balance to 9,381.00. It was an 89x win, not quite 2,000x, but neat all the same. The next largest was 160.00 on spin 77, or 16 times the stake.
More Fresh Fruits, to wrap up, is another pleasantly playable slot from Endorphina.
