Habanero’s Buddha on 28 Fixed Lines
Laughing Buddha arrives with a bonus game and features a layout of 5 reels, 3 rows and 28 fixed pay lines. Wins pay left to right for three or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from reel 1. This Habanero release takes wagers from 0.28 up to 140 per spin, and the 96.64% RTP is matched with the fairly high volatility seen here. My session ran 490 spins at a 1.40 stake from a 2,000.00 balance and finished on 1,894.91, a return of 84.7%.
Vases, Bowls, Dragons and a 2x or 3x Wild
Symbols on the reels comprise low-paying A to 10 symbols and 4 premiums depicted by vases, bowls, dragons and the Buddha. On spin 2 a line of A symbols paid 4.25 on the 1.40 stake, lifting the balance to 2,001.45, the highest it stood all session.
The Buddha grants 35.71 times the stake for 5 of a kind. The dragon is the next premium down, paying 17.86 times the stake for five. The wild is core to the game and holds a 2x or 3x multiplier, so land 5 of them and you will get a 35.71 times the stake win. It substitutes for every symbol except the Golden Pot scatter, and when several wilds sit on one winning line only the highest multiplier applies.
The Minty Summary: 490 spins returned 84.7% against a stated 96.64%, and one Golden Pot round on spin 476 carried 24% of everything the reels paid back.
Golden Pots and the Expanding Pick
Three Golden Pot scatter symbols landing on reels 1, 3 and 5 will activate 8 Free Games, and this round contains expanding symbol mechanics. The symbol chosen to expand is drawn from the regular paying symbols, never the wild or the scatter. Whenever it lands, the one randomly picked symbol will grow to fill its entire reel. The session's only Free Games arrived on spin 476, with the balance at its low of 1,603.15, and the 8 games paid 140.00, or 100 times the stake, without a retrigger. The max win is 56,043 times the stake, and additionally, extra scatters grant another 8 free games with the same expanding symbol. The biggest single win came on spin 489 at 163.80, or 117 times the stake, while only 95 of the 490 spins paid anything at all.
Where Laughing Buddha Lands
This is a big upside slot, and a high volatility one.
