In total there are 10 symbols in the game, and 9 of them are ordinary symbols. The tenth symbol is the Wild. Heart, Diamond, Club and Spade carved suits are employed as low-value symbols. Each of the four suits pays the same, 2 times the stake for 6 in a row and 0.2 times the stake for 3. The premiums are depicted by assorted animal sculptures - the orange fox, the green frog, the purple beast, the teal fish, and the red bird mask. The orange fox comes next, at 10 times the stake for 6 in a row. The red bird mask is the most rewarding out of the sculptures. It pays 40 times the stake for 6 across a complete payline. Five of them on a line pay 16 times the stake, and three pay 4 times the stake.
The wild symbol substitutes for all normal symbols. During Colossal Block Respins, it appears as a Colossal Wild on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. When a combination starting with three Wilds can be read in more than one way, only the highest win is paid.
What a 3-of-a-kind win swaps
Contained in Easter Island 2 is the Symbol Swap Respin. It triggers in the base game if any 3-of-a-kind win appears, and when started, one of two outcomes may occur: the 3 other low value symbols on the reels are converted into the winning symbol, or the other 4 high value symbols are converted into it. A Symbol Swap Respin cannot be retriggered, and it never awards Colossal blocks.

Now, if the win is larger than 3-of-a-kind, the Colossal Block Respins are triggered, and they put Colossal blocks on reels 2-5 plus the identical Symbol Swap. The swap is applied before the respin reels come to a stop. There are 2x2 blocks for a 4-of-a-kind win, 3x3 blocks for 5 and 4x4 blocks for 6. In my session, spin 167 brought 2x2 blocks for 220.00, and spin 153 brought 3x3 blocks after a 5-of-a-kind win for 1,100.00, which is 55.0 times the stake. A 6-of-a-kind win also enlarges the reels to 8x6 with 55 paylines, it should be observed. No 6-of-a-kind win landed in my 490 spins, so I never saw the 8x6 reels.
