Mighty 40 is a deceptively modest looking slot. It comes from Bally Wulff, the studio behind 40 Thieves. It conceals a mix of Wilds and Free Games. I played it at a 3.00 stake from a 2,000.00 balance, and the balance never climbed above where it started.
With 5 reels and 4 rows, Mighty 40 seems fairly uncomplicated at initial look. Its symbols are classic ones, the 7 and the Star among them.

When the 7 turns Wild
It all centres around the Star scatters. A Star is also the scatter in Greentube's Sizzling Hot Deluxe. When you hit 3 or more of them in one spin, they will trigger the Free Games. Both of my triggers came from exactly three Stars.

Bally Wulff have crafted something that is plain, and in truth it can appear misleadingly simple when it initially opens. The 96.03% RTP attached to it is a listing figure, and the listings I found also give 95.95% and 84.46%, none of them from the studio. But allow it time to find its rhythm. My longest run without a win was 11 spins, ending on spin 85. Mighty 40 handed me the Free Games twice in 440 spins. The first arrived on spin 218. Or so it ran for me at least.
Our Minty Verdict: Across the 440 spins I wagered 1,320.00, won back 878.40 and finished on 1,558.40, a return of 66.5% on the session. The second was just 15 spins after the first, and the delay for them was worth it also, because the first returned 50 times the stake. The second came to 45.60 including what the three Stars paid on the trigger, or 15.2 times the stake. The main attraction, though, is the Free Games.
