5 Treasures Slot – Free Demo
Provider:
Light & Wonder
Fu Bats drop coins into a pot above the reels, and the lid closing, not the pile, starts a 12-coin pick for four jackpots. Over 400 spins at 2.64 the pot paid a Mini once, while a Dragon-to-Koi free spins round retriggered to 12 spins and returned 139.0x the stake.

A 243-Ways Grid With a Pot on Top
5 Treasures is an online slot developed by Light & Wonder. It sits with 88 Fortunes and Dancing Drums Explosion among the Light & Wonder games that feature Fu Bat jackpots. It employs 5 reels and 243 ways to win. I played 400 spins at a stake of 2.64, and my balance went from 1,000.00 to 839.75, a session return of 84.8%.
Treasure Doors, Fu Bats and the Coin Pot
13 symbols are in use in total here. Symbols pay for 3, 4 or 5 of a kind, counted from the far left reel with one symbol per adjacent reel. They are 6 low to mid value symbols that comprise 9, 10, J, Q, K and A royals, as well as 6 premiums depicted by koi, turtles, tigers, phoenixes, dragons, and the Treasure Door. The latter is the most rewarding. Below it, the premiums rank Dragon, Phoenix, Tiger, Turtle and Koi, in that order.
The Free Spins trigger arrives in the shape of the Treasure Door. It pays out as a symbol win at the same time as it awards the feature. 3 on consecutive reels from the first reel are enough to trigger the bonus, and other than this, the Fu Bat wild substitutes for all other symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Each Fu Bat that lands also adds coins to the pot above the reels, though how full the pot gets has no effect on triggering the Jackpot feature, which starts when the lid closes and deals 12 coins until three matching Fu Babies award the Mini, Minor, Major or Grand jackpot.
Five Modes, One Extra Premium
To trigger the free spins feature, the reels need to show a minimum of 3 Treasure Door symbols on consecutive reels from the first reel, and this will grant 6 free spins run on one of five variants. The free spins play automatically once a choice has been made between the modes. They are Dragon, Phoenix, Tiger, Turtle or Koi. Dragon mode carries 88 Dragon symbols across the 5 reels, and the count rises through 98, 108 and 118 to 128 Koi symbols in Koi mode. Each contributes one top-tier symbol to the reels. My one Free Spins round came on spin 252, was retriggered from 6 to 12 spins and paid 366.96, or 139.0x the stake.
Should the round show 3 or more Treasure Door symbols, the bonus is possible to retrigger.
Minty Slots Verdict: The Jackpot feature came up once in my session, on spin 380, and paid the Mini Jackpot of 48.00. I have mixed feelings when it comes to 5 Treasures.
