Five Scatter Wild books across the middle row paid 36,350 at a 100 stake, and the ten free spins behind them added 6,750 more with K as the expanding symbol. The rest of the reels were less generous: 69 other spins returned about a third of what they cost.
Spinomenal have followed up with another launch named Book Of Rebirth. I gave it 70 spins from a starting balance of 5,000.
Book Of Rebirth is a 5 reel, 3 row slot. All symbols pay left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Its symbols are divided into five low payers, and four high payers, and the low payers are 10-A royals, while the upper tiers are composed of a pharaoh, a queen, a scarab, and a pyramid. A line of five queens pays 200 times the stake, and five scarabs or five pyramids pay 75 times. The pharaoh is the head of the paytable at 500 times the stake for a line of five, and there are 10 fixed paylines to build winning combos on. Only the highest win on each line is paid, and wins on separate lines are added together.
Stakes are on tap from as little as 10 p/c per spin, and powering the game is a very volatile maths framework. I played at 100 per spin, which is 10 on each of the 10 lines. It yields an RTP of 96.14%. My 70 spins wagered 7,000 and returned 45,500, a session return of 650%. Did I note it is very volatile? This can't be stressed enough. Only 15 of my 70 spins paid anything, and 6 of those paid less than the stake. Sessions can go hot or turn cold. Mine fell to 4,550 after spin 11, and later went 13 spins without a win, ending on spin 43.
Book Of Rebirth's suite of mechanics can operate on their own. But they work best when merged.
Book Of Rebirth arrives with a wild symbol billed as the Scatter Wild. It counts as any symbol on a line and also pays as a scatter anywhere on the reels. It presents in the shape of a book. Scatter prizes are paid on top of any line wins from the same spin.
The book comes into its own during the Free Spins bonus round. 3 or more Scatter Wild books anyplace in sight are required to trigger the mode, and when they land, 10 free spins are awarded. The line bet for the free spins stays the same as on the spin that triggered them. An Expanding Symbol chosen by a wheel grows during the bonus game whenever that creates a win. It pays on all lines whether or not it rests on adjacent reels, and Scatters continue to land and award another 10 free spins. The wheel holds every symbol except the Scatter Wild, and on my only trigger, at spin 13, it landed on K.
Lastly, Book Of Rebirth may launch with a feature buy choice named the Buy Feature, which purchases a free spins round and fires it instantly. Its window sets the bet the bought round is played at, and I did not use it in my session.
In it, mechanics can pile up in a flash, and top wins were achieved when the Scatter Wild books landed in quantity to trigger the Free Spins. That trigger came on spin 13 and was the only one in my 70 spins. Pair five of them on the triggering spin (36,350 on a 100 stake in my session) with an Expanding Symbol across all 10 lines during the bonus game, where K on 4 reels returned 4,000, and you have 43,100 from a single trigger. Free spin 1 added 850, and the other 8 spins paid 1,900 between them.

Minty’s Final Note: Still, Book Of Rebirth can be savage on a poor day. Leaving out spin 13, my other 69 spins returned 2,400 on 6,900 wagered. On the reverse side, it's superb when matters are running nicely. I stopped after spin 70 with a balance of 43,500, up from 5,000.
Book Of Rebirth can be hard going. My best win after spin 13 was 550, from 3 pyramids and 4 J on spin 56. Its numbers and play are not for the timid, but particularly if the pharaoh can have some of the riches stream your way, the bumpy ride has lots to enjoy.
