Well, you can’t accuse Midas Golden Touch 3 of being thin on extras, and the crux is the scatter symbol. In the base game, Gift of Midas may also trigger at random and add either 1 to 9 Wilds or 1 to 3 Scatters to the reels, though it does not occur during the free spins. When 3 or more land they trigger the free spins game, and the first Epic Wild multiplier hinges on how many scatters arrive:
- For 3 scatters, 5 free spins with a first Epic Wild multiplier of x2.
- For 4 scatters, 5 free spins with a first Epic Wild multiplier of x5.
- For 5 scatters, 5 free spins with a first Epic Wild multiplier of x10.
Now, during the round the Epic Wild multiplier is raised by +1 after each respin sequence, and 2 free spins are granted, up to a cap of 5. Those sequences are Sticky Respins, started by any free spin win, which lock the winning symbols in place and respin the other positions until no new winning symbols land. Should another 3 scatters land, they reset the spins to 5. And they apply x3 to the Epic Wild multiplier. This is the Retrigger Boost, and 4 or 5 scatters raise the Epic Wild multiplier by x5 or x8 instead.
Players may also use the Bet+ option, and they can raise the wager to 1.5x with Bonus Boost. This doubles the odds of triggering free spins. The Bonus Buy sells the free spins outright at 100x the bet for a 3 scatter start, 150x for 4 scatters and 250x for 5 scatters.
