Spinfinity Man is the name of the protagonist in Betsoft's slot of the same title. Betsoft released it on 11 June 2019. I must concede that it surprisingly made me tumble head over heels in love with a cartoon online slot figure. The same studio is behind The Slotfather and Fruitbat Crazy.

Spinfinity Man is a 7-reel, 7-row slot with cluster pays. Winning clusters explode, and new symbols drop into their place and can form further wins in the same spin. I get to track Spinfinity Man in his battle against Mr. X, and core to the game is the 2x2 Spinfinity Man symbol and the Mr. X free spins round. The base game also has a fangirl feature: when she snaps a photo, a cluster of symbols pops and sets off an immediate cascade.

Laser eyes, icy breath, telepathy

Keep an eye out for the animated 2x2 Spinfinity Man symbol. That's the one that activates his powers, and it lands in the base game. Each one unleashes a randomly selected power. The draw is between laser eye beams that burn away rows or columns, icy breath that freezes and shatters a small or a large cluster, and telepathy, which removes every symbol of one type.

The Minty Take: Betsoft’s 34.76% hit rate says roughly a third of spins should pay; mine managed 19% across 350, and the Mr. X meter never came close to paying out its ten free spins.
