Ted Slot – Free Demo

Twenty lines and a Ted Wild

This time studio Blueprint Gaming has launched a slot. Lion Festival and King Kong Cash Go Bananas Jackpot King come from the same studio. It is built around Ted. I played 330 spins of it at a 2.00 stake, starting from a balance of 1,000.00.

Gamers are welcomed by a 5 reel play zone, plastered in Ted, where reels carry 3 symbols each, with 20 fixed paylines awarding left to right. Matching symbols have to sit on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost one for a line to count.

Playing Ted requires placing a wager. Over my session I wagered 660.00 in total and won back 583.80. Volatility, meanwhile, is medium. My longest run without a win lasted 12 spins and ended on spin 81. Prizes are there should things run to plan. My balance peaked at 1,091.80 on spin 107, dropped as low as 916.20 and finished at 923.80, a session return of 88.5%.

The paying symbols start on the low end with J-A royals, while the premiums are Ted Light Beer and Ted with Bong and Woman, and hit five Wilds for a payout of 25x, falling to 15x to 2.5x for the other symbols. Ted with Bong and Woman each pay 15x the stake for five, Ted Light Beer pays 10x, A and K pay 5x, and Q and J pay 2.5x. Assisting gamers put together wins is the Ted Wild. Two Wilds on a line already pay 0.1x the stake, and three pay 2x. It substitutes for any symbol except the Thunder Buddies Bonus scatter. 105 of my 330 spins paid something, and 60 of those paid less than the 2.00 stake.

Ted wakes up on the base game

The Ted Modifiers, the Thunder Buddies Bonus and free spins are what gamers will discover in this part. The free spins sit inside the Thunder Buddies Bonus, as two of the five features its wheel can pick.

The Psychedelic Super Spin is one of six Ted Modifiers. The others are Laser Gun Wilds, Beer Shuffle, Psychedelic Colossal Spin, TV Remote Symbol Streak and Psychedelic Bonus Boost. They may activate randomly on any base spin. On spin 274 the Laser Gun Wilds modifier, which turns the symbols its laser hits into wilds, paid me 82.00, or 41.0x the stake, the biggest win of my session. With it, all Ted symbols turn into the same identical symbol. The Psychedelic Colossal Spin joins three reels into one colossal reel with giant symbols and guarantees a win.

What the wheel handed me

You’ll require at least 3 Thunder Buddies Bonus scatters anywhere to activate the Thunder Buddies Bonus. The Psychedelic Bonus Boost modifier adds extra Thunder Buddies Bonus symbols to the reels to raise the chance of a trigger. In it, a wheel selects one of five features. My three wheel results were S*Mart Free Spins with 5 free spins on spin 68 for 30.00, Bar Crawl Bonus on spin 103 for 48.00, and Ted Free Spins on spin 107.

A 5x4 grid with 40 paylines comes into force during Ted Free Spins, which are retriggerable. My Ted Free Spins round did retrigger on the 5x4 grid and paid 74.00, or 37.0x the stake.

Shelves, a carousel and 152.00

It’s tough to get extremely thrilled about Ted, but that’s not to suggest it’s a poor game at all. Across my three bonuses the Thunder Buddies Bonus paid 152.00, which was 26% of everything I won. The Ted Modifiers on any base spin constantly contributes a pleasant layer. In S*Mart Free Spins, shelf patterns fill with wilds that are added to the reels after each spin.

Minty’s Final Note: The Thunder Buddies Bonus wheel is contributing a somewhat distinct flavour, and wins of up to 10,000 times your stake are achievable when things truly break your way. The Ted Big Money Bonus, reached through the Wheel of Fortune Bonus, the Bar Crawl Bonus or the top of the Ted Free Spins grid, spins a carousel of multipliers worth up to 500x the bet. Ted is another decent slot from Blueprint Gaming, to wrap up, and a fine looking game with reasonable features.
